How do I find out if water or wastewater service is available at my property?

To find out if your property is within WHUD’s water or wastewater service area, visit our Service Area Map. Plug in the exact address to see if service is available. If it is, you will see a link to begin applying for service. If service is not currently available, individual landowners looking to build, as well as developers or builders can visit our Construction Support page for more information, including access to our online availability request form.

I am in the process of subdividing a lot. How do I know if if water/wastewater service will be available to the new lots?

To determine if service will be available for the new lots, click here and submit a Request for Availability. Our engineering department will review your request and respond.

What is the process for getting a plat reviewed?

Any individual (or individuals) subdividing a tract of land into lots under five (5) acres are required by Robertson and Sumner counties to have a plat reviewed and signed by several local entities, including the utility provider, ensuring that service is available and all local regulations are met during the building process. Are there any guidelines or instructions available for developers or builders new to the area?
